Community Diagnostic Centre - Liverpool
Utilising support mechanisms for technical design of a new CDC with heavy machinery.
CSM Architects were commissioned by InHealth, the UK’s largest provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, to oversee the redevelopment of their new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Liverpool.
Opening its doors in 2024, the centre was designed to provide patients with high-quality diagnosis as well as access to MRI, X-ray and Health Screening services.
A major consideration within this project was arranging the delivery and installation of medical equipment. This involved meticulous planning and consideration when it came to structural elements and accessibility.
The addition of a specialist MRI room in the basement is accompanied by an emergency extract fan and MRI quench termination which we designed to Siemens specifications and is compliant with various safety regulations.
